Blizzard announces Warcraft 3: Reforged, includes Frozen Throne and cross-version multiplayer

Blizzard Entertainment is on a roll. They announced Warcraft 3: Reforged which is a total revamp of the iconic real-time strategy game.

Warcraft 3 is one of the best, if not the best, fantasy RTS PC game in history. It spawned a movie adaptation and the MMORPG World of Warcraft. Blizzard is remastering Warcraft 3 from the graphics, map modifications, and even redone voice overs and cinematic scenes.

It has remodeled characters as well as up to 4K resolution

Warcraft 3: Reforged will include Reign of Chaos as well as the Frozen Throne expansion. This means it is not only a remastered edition but a definitive, complete collection as well. They are also promising some gameplay improvements as well apart from the major graphical overhaul.

Even maps are also being improved

Experiencing the story again will also be a good choice as the amazing cutscenes and voice acting is all going to be redone and re-recorded. Blizzard is also going to be updating the gameplay of the original Warcraft 3 since cross-version multiplayer games will be an option as well. This means both the players of the original and Reforged will be able to play together.

Warcraft 3: Reforged is now available for pre-purchase for USD 29.99 (PHP 1.5K) for the Standard Edition, the Spoils of War Edition for USD 39.99 (PHP 2.1K) and the Spoils of War Edition + BlizzCon Virtual Ticket package for USD 79.99 (PHP 4.25K).
