Wait what? ROG Phone 2's China starting price is crazy CHEAP!

In China, JD.com revealed the prices of the new ROG Phone 2. It will include the customized Tencent version and the vanilla models.

The ROG Phone 2 Tencent edition is dirt cheap for its specs

The wild part? The ROG Phone 2 with Tencent custom ROM, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage is priced at just CNY 3,499. Out of straight conversion with no taxes and duties yet, that is just around PHP 26K!

There is also a max model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage priced at CNY 5,999 (around PHP 45K).

That's crazy cheap for a phone with a brand new overclocked Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, flagship overall internals, and gaming focuses features/design!

To recall, the original ROG Phone comes with a PHP 49,995 price tag last year here in the Philippines.

Most likely, the Tencent edition will feature contents from the company to keep the cost down.

The vanilla ROG Phone 2 is priced at CNY 5,999. The Zhizun and Esports versions are priced at CNY 7,999 and CNY 13,999, respectively.

The phones are now for pre-order at JD.com and will start shopping on July 31.
