Xiaomi outsold Huawei, Samsung, everyone last Lazada 9.9 Big Discovery Sale

Xiaomi Philippines has just revealed that it has outsold both Huawei and Samsung as the best-selling smartphone at the recently concluded Lazada 9.9 Big Discovery Sale.

The global technology leader has emerged as the number 1 smartphone brand and number 2 mobile brand during the said sale event of Lazada. This news means that the company successfully defended its title as the top-selling mobile brand from 2018's 11.11 and 12.12 sales.

Top brands at Lazada's 9.9 sale

According to Xiaomi, the company's best-selling device was the Redmi Note 7. 

The Redmi Note 7 was the best-selling device of Xiaomi on Lazada's 9.9 sale. But aside from our smartphone line, we’re happy that Filipinos are beginning to trust us to provide them with smart home solutions too. This strengthens our dual core strategy of smartphone and AI + IoT (Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things). We will continue to work together with Lazada and other partners to make our latest technologies more accessible nationwide, Mark Li, Country Manager of Xiaomi Philippines, said.

Last Lazada 9.9 sale, the company treated its consumers with up to 30 percent off on select Xiaomi items. The sale even included the popular Mi 9T with 48MP Sony cam and pop-up selfie cam.
