ZTE announces MiFavor 10 OS, an Android 10-based skin

ZTE has recently showcased its new skin based on Android 10 OS. It is expected to be available on its existing smartphones soon as well as its upcoming devices.

It now has Dark Mode and floating window for notification

To start off, MiFavor 10 will be riding the trend of going dark. Dark Mode support, although not yet final, is included in the update givings apps a black makeover as well as white texts to make sure that everything is still legible and comfortable to read.

ZTE also updated its icon with over 1,600 system icons with rounded corners for a balanced visual experience. Over 80 of the new system icons also have new micro-motion effects that smooth out the transition and UI movement.

MiFavor 10 now has dynamic wallpapers. Most are darker wallpapers to go along the new dark mode. There are 6 new theme built-in that has their own icon designs each, There are also improvements with notifications as it now has a small floating window meant to be less distracting.

There is a new floating window UI as well that showcase an instant messaging app along with a floating keyboard that seems to be made for one-hand typing. This is meant to provide uninterrupted fullscreen activities such as videos and games.

MiFavor10 OS also has AI recognition to quickly analyze the contents of your screen by long pressing on it with two fingers.  MiFavor 10 can pick up both text, images, give you editing options as well as pull-up product matches and recommendations, recognize animals and plants, special characters, and more.

ZTE claims it to have full voice control and navigation around the whole UI. It is able to follow certain in-app commands through a natural semantic engine. Lastly, Z-Booster 2.0 can now allocate system resources better. MiFavor 10 promises to provide improved gaming performance through this as well.

MiFavor 10 will be coming to the ZTE Axon 10 Pro 4G and 5G variants, ZTE Blade V10, and ZTE Axon 9 Pro. There is no official schedule for the update rollout yet.
