We ran AnTuTu, GeekBench 5, 3DMark, and PCMark on the upcoming OPPO Reno3 Pro.

Inside the OPPO Reno3 Pro is the 12nm 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio P95 octa-core processor, PowerVR GM 9446 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB of internal storage. Running the show is the Android 10 based ColorOS 7.

Here are the scores we benchmark scores we got with the OPPO Reno 3 Pro:

1. AnTuTu - In AnTuTu Version 8, OPPO Reno3 Pro defeated 28 percent of users with a total score 227,310. It is worth noting that the UX and Memory tests defeated at least 40 percent of users meaning its UX and its Memory are comparable to higher price tier smartphones.

2. Geekbench score - In GeekBench 5, it scored 429 in single-core tests and it scored 1577 in multi-core tests. For comparison, the OnePlus 7T is expected to be priced similarly to the OPPO Reno3 Pro.

The OnePlus 7T scored 760 in single-core and 2695 in multi-core tests.

3. PCMark Work 2.0 performance - At PCMark Work 2.0, it scored 9420. The OPPO Reno3 Pro is expected to be priced similarly with the OnePlus 7T which scored 9892.

This means the OPPO Reno3 Pro performed admirably given that the OnePlus 7T was a flagship tier smartphone.

4. PCMark Work 2.0 battery life - At PCMark Work 2.0 battery life test, the internal 4025mAh battery with the new ColorOS 7 of the OPPO Reno3 Pro was able to produce 9 hours and 33 minutes.

This is respectable and should translate to a whole day of battery life but you may still need to charge every night. But, it is lower than the battery bench scores of other lower-end OPPO smartphones.

5. 3DMark Slingshot Extreme - In 3DMark, the OPPO Reno3 Pro scored 1288 in OpenGL ES 3.1 and scored 1597 in Vulkan. This means that the OPPO Reno3 Pro will be able to perform well with mobile games that use OpenGL and will be able to perform even better with mobile games that use Vulkan.

Based on the benchmark scores, the OPPO Reno3 Pro performed respectfully and it should run most of the tasks you throw at it decently. However, its scores are not as high expected. It would have been better if OPPO placed a higher-tier SoC on this handset.
