LG Velvet design and chip reveal

Today, the South Korean tech giant has revealed its full back and front design along with its colors and the processor it will use.

It showed the handset's front-back symmetrical curves and the "Raindrop" camera descending order by size. The colors are available in Emerald-like Green, Red-Orange, Black, and White. The white color has a rainbow-like glow which reminds us of the Galaxy Note10 by Samsung.

The actual color names are Aurora White, Aurora Gray, Aurora Green, and Illusion Sunset.

The body of the Velvet is made out of aluminum metal. It also has a separate button on the left side that could the Google Assistant key. We noticed that there is a 3.5mm headphone jack slot as well.

In the front, the device will come with a U-shaped notch to house the selfie cam. Staying true to its promise, the phone's display has stunning curves. It is also 21:9 tall with ultra-slim bezels.

Since there is no fingerprint scanner at the back or at the sides, it is safe to assume that it goes with an In-Display fingerprint scanner.

The last info that LG shared is the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 765G chipset. To recall, Snapdragon 765G is an octa-core processor based on the 7nm  EUV manufacturing process. It has up to 2.4GHz clock speed, Adreno 620 GPU, and built-in 5G support.

This is an intriguing mid-ranger so far. The phone is expected to go official on May 15.
