In China, Huawei today introduced the FreeBuds 4. It is the company's latest true wireless earbuds with several upgrades from its predecessor. It features a semi-open design as opposed to the in-ear design of the FreeBuds Pro and FreeBuds 4i
It still has adaptive noise reduction technology that reduces noise at up to 25dB of hybrid active noise reduction.
At the core of the earbuds are the 14.3mm dynamic drivers and the Kirin A1 chip. Other features include three (3) microphones for call noise reduction, touch controls, and Bluetooth 5.2 that offers 90ms low latency for gaming. It can also connect to two devices at the same time. The numerous microphones give the earbuds the capability to achieve high-definition vocal recording at a sampling rate of 48kHz.
The earbuds have sensors for wear detection and touch controls. Inside each earbud is a 30mAh battery and measures 41.4 x 16.8 x 18.5 mm and weighs 4. grams. While the case has a 410mAh battery and measures 58 x 21.2mm and weighs 38 grams. The earbuds are also IPX4 water splash resistant.
The case charges via USB Type-C and via Qi wireless charging. Lastly, the earbuds are rated up to 4 hours of playback by themselves and are extended up to 22 hours with the case.
It comes in White, Silver, and Red colorways.

It is now available for pre-orders in China and will be available for purchase on June 1.
There is no word yet on international or Philippines pricing and availability.
