OPPO Smart TV K9 announced in China, comes with 4K in three sizes

At the company's K9 5G launch event, OPPO has introduced the new OPPO Smart TV K9 series in 65-inch, 55-inch, and 43-inch models.

Alongside the OPPO K9 5G, OPPO has also introduced the Smart TV L9 in China. It is available in three sizes - 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch and features a metal frame and an LED-backlit LCD panel. 

First up is the new 43-inch model. The panel has a 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate, 230 nits typical brightness, and low blue light mode. While the 55-inch and 65-inch models feature a 3840 x 2160 resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 1.07 Billion colors, 93-percent DCI-P3 color gamut, AE<3 color accuracy, 300 nits typical brightness level, and low blue light mode.

All three models support HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG but only the 55-inch and the 65-inch models can decode and pass HDR10+ content. In addition to this, only the 65-inch model has a 60Hz dynamic MEMC.

Inside the 43-inch and 55-inch model is the MediaTek MT9632 SoC while the 65-inch model has the MediaTek MT9652 SoC. All three models feature 8GB/16GB of storage and will support dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0.

The 55-inch and 65-inch models have far-field microphones and have two 15W speakers while the 43-inch has two 10W speakers. All three models support Dolby Audio.

The three models feature one DTMB, one Digital Audio/coaxial port, two USB 2.0, and one LAN/Ethernet port. The 55-inch and 65-inch models also have an AV port. The 43-inch and 55-inch have three HDMI 2.0 ports while the 65-inch features three HDMI 2.1. One of three supports eARC.

All three TVs come with a remote with Bluetooth voice and NFC-enabled remote control for the Xiaobu AI assistant and to share content with OPPO smartphones. 

Lastly, the 55-inch and 65-inch models also work with optional 1080p FHD external webcam accessories for those who are interested.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

OPPO Smart TV K9 43-inch - CNY 1,999 (around PHP 15K)

OPPO Smart TV K9 55-inch - CNY 2,799 (around PHP 20.8K)

OPPO Smart TV K9 65-inch - CNY 3,999 (around PHP 30K)

OPPO will be selling all models for a limited time only and the first batch will go on sale on May 11. For the first 999 customers, OPPO is also bundling the OPPO Smart TV K9 43-inch and the OPPO K9 5G 8GB/128GB for only CNY 2999 (or around PHP 22.3K).
