Another camera-centric midrange device soon?

Based on the renders, the TECNO device looks like it has a smooth and matte glass back panel, curved inward at both edges. Moreover, it shows that there's an elongated rectangle on the upper half of the rear, possibly the camera bump.

In front, the device allegedly features a dual-curved edge display.  It's a 6.7-inch diagonal display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution The bezels are all slim from top to bottom. The top-left part of the display shows a pill-shaped notch with two camera modules.

Under the hood, the TECNO Phantom X will run with MediaTek Helio G95 SoC. It has a 12 nm chipset that counts with two ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2.05GHz plus six ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2GHz. Aside from that, the mid-ranger is said to be equipped with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory. It will be powered by a 4,700mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

According to the leak, the camera module consists of 3 lenses plus a multi-LED flash module. The triple camera set-up features a 50MP main camera, and a 13MP and 8MP camera. Meanwhile, the selfie camera setup sports a 48MP primary camera and a secondary 8MP shooter. There are assumptions that the company is trying to create a capable device for mobile photography.

The device is claimed to have Android 11 with a HiOS custom interface. According to the leaked information, this TECNO phone will be released by August this year.

It's still months from the expected date so there might be more clues to appear in the coming days. Stay tuned.
