vivo Y53s 5G with SD480 and 90Hz screen now official in China
In China, the vivo Y53s 5G officially launched with a 90Hz screen and Snapdragon 480 SoC. It is the follow-up to the Y52s from 2020.

Looking at the images, the vivo Y53s 5G seems to have a slim body with a rectangular camera bump at the back. It measures 163.95 x 75.3 x 8.5 mm and weighs 189 grams. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It features gradient finishes and curved edges. In front, it has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It also has a dewdrop notch housing the selfie camera.
Inside, it features the 8nm 2.0GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 octa-core processor, Adreno 619 GPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. It also features WiFi 6, 5G, 4G LTE, and Bluetooth 5.1.
For cameras, it has a dual-camera setup at the back with a 64MP + 4cm macro sensor with LED flash. For selfies, it has an 8MP snapper. It is running Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0 on top out of the box.
China price with direct to PHP conversion (no duties and taxes yet):

The vivo Y53s 5G is already in pre-order in China. It is scheduled to become available on June 11. Local price and availability are yet to be confirmed. We will update you as soon as we get more information.
