OnePlus and PUBG Mobile have made a partnership for the PUBG mobile World Invitational.
In a Facebook post of PUBG mobile Esports, they announce that the Chinese phone maker is their official partner for the tournament. They also said that they will be giving away the OnePlus 9 series to three lucky winners that will be picked randomly across all social platforms.
It's no wonder why the Chinese brand was picked as the official partner of the game. The latest series of smartphones from the brand features top-notch specs along with ultra-smooth framerates and high touch sampling rate. Which is perfect for the action-packed and highly competitive video game that requires precision and quick reactions.
The OnePlus 9 features a 6.55-inch 2400x1080 FHD+ LTPO OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+ support. The Pro version has a slightly bigger screen of 6.7-inch 3216x1440 resolution LTPO AMOLED screen, HDR 10+ support, and 120Hz refresh rate. The Fluid Display 2.0 has the capabilities of giving improved battery consumption and responsive touch control with the HyperTouch that reduces touch latency in games for more precise controls.
Inside of both devices is the 5nm Snapdragon 888 5G processor and Adreno 660 GPU. Both devices have two options for RAM and memory configurations. It will be either 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of storage or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB memory.
Its batteries are both 4,500 mAh with 65W WarpCharge charging technology.
Both phones also feature Cool Play, an advanced cooling system that features heat sinks that removes the heat away from the processor and your hands.
Another main highlight of its features is the Hasselblad cameras. The OnePlus 9 features a triple-rear camera setup with a 48MP f/1.8 Sony IMX689 sensor with OIS, 7P lens + 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor + 2MP monochrome sensor system. The OnePlus 9 Pro will have a quad-camera setup with a 48MP f/1.8 Sony IMX789 sensor with OIS, 7P lens + 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor + 2MP monochrome sensor system + 8MP telephoto sensor combination. Both phones have a 16MP sensor for selfies.
Both smartphones will run Android 11 with OxygenOS 11.2.7.7 out of the box
