The current administration has also been implementing the Ease of Doing Business Act of 2018 with an aim to cut red tape hounding tower deployments. It ordered that processing time for necessary permits, licenses, clearances, certificates, and other requirements for common towers must be reduced from over 200 days to around 16 days.
