In an exclusive, prolific leaker OnLeaks and India-based website Digit.in has posted alleged renders and key specs of the unannounced realme 8i.

realme CEO Madhav Sheth teased the arrival of the realme 8i and realme 8s during the 28th episode of AskMadhav in early August.

The upcoming realme 8i is expected to be the most affordable phone of the line and will allegedly be powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 SoC that was announced last July. Alongside the SoC is the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

Digit.in also claims that the realme 8i will have a 6.59-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch hole on the top left corner. Aside from that, the report also says that the phone will have 4GB RAM, 128GB UFS 2.2, and a 5,000mAh battery.

For cameras, it is expected to carry a triple rear camera made up of a 50MP main camera, 2MP portrait camera, and 2MP macro camera. While on the punch hole is a 16MP selfie shooter.

The alleged renders depict a sleek smartphone with curved front and back panels. On top is a smooth surface while on the bottom are the 3.5mm audio jack, microphones, USB-C port and a speaker grill. The volume buttons and SIM tray are on the left side while on the right side is a power button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner.

If the render is real, then we can expect a black colorway.

As realme has yet to make an official announcement, take this information with a grain of salt.

What do you guys think?
