Apple Music officially arrives today on Sony PS5, the first gaming platform to bring an integrated Apple Music experience to its owners worldwide.
The next-gen console owners can now enjoy the vast library of songs amounting to over 90 million, countless playlists, music videos in 4K resolution, and more services via the Apple Music subscription.
With the PS5's seamless integration with the Apple Music streaming service plus background music and music video playback, players of the said platform can listen before, during, and after the gaming session.
By having the music streaming service on the console, the users can play videos on full screen, and in case they want to go back in playing or navigate elsewhere on the platform's home screen, the song from the video will still continue to play. If the users choose to return to the music video, it will resume where they left off in the song, with no interruption to the music.
To do this, players will need to download the Music streaming service of Apple on the Media space of PS5, follow on-screen instructions to link to the Apple Music account. After installing, players can use the PS button on the DualSense wireless controller as a shortcut, access the Control Center, and pick the Music Function card.
