Huawei MateBook 14s with 2.5K 90Hz screen, slim bezels with proper fixed webcam position, and upgraded specs now official
Tech giant Huawei is looking to further grow its fast-ricing PC division globally by releasing more and more laptops. One of them is the new MateBook 14s.

Huawei MateBook 14s now official!
Versus the MateBook 14 2021, the MateBook 14s arrived with a slightly bigger display with improved resolution and technologies, webcam on top without sacrificing bezels, larger battery capacity with faster-charging speed, better keyboard, and stronger overall specs.

In particular, the device is now using a larger 14.2-inch display with better LTPS technology, 90Hz refresh rate, and sharper 2.5K (WQHD) 2560 x 1440 resolution at 207 ppi.
It also has 100 percent sRGB, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 400 nits brightness, TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light (Hardware Solution) Certification, TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free Certification, Smart Brightness Feature, and 10 points of touch.
In addition, it has narrow bezels on all corners while being able to place a webcam on the top bezel. To recall, older MateBooks have the webcam hidden in the middle Fn keys making it awkward to use during video calls.
Moreover, it now has up to 4.8GHz 10nm 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11370H chip, up to 16GB LPDDR4X RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD storage, and larger 60WHr LiPo with upgraded 90W fast charging tech.
The Chinese tech giant also highlights that it has Huawei Sound with Quad Audio (4x speakers) and Quad Mic with 5-meter sound pickup, AI Noise Cancellation, and Personal Voice Enhancement. It also has an auto-pairing feature for FreeBuds users.
This also has a 1.5mm key travel full-size backlit keyboard, touchpad w/ HUAWEI Share Built-in, Dual-Screen Workspace support when you have a Huawei tablet (you can use the tablet to extend the screen which allows its users to open two apps at the same time), and Windows 10 Home OS that is upgradable to Windows 11 once available.
