The Xiaomi 11T features a large 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, it features the 6nm 3.0GHz MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Ultra octa-core processor, Mali-G77 MC9 GPU, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. It also has a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging via USB-C.

It starts at PHP 21,990 in the Philippines.

Without further ado, let's just jump right into it!

Unboxing/Accessories

The box
The box

Xiaomi 11T comes in an elegant white box with glossy rose gold text and black text for info and branding.

Inside the box, you get the Xiaomi 11T, documentation, silicone transparent case, SIM ejector tool, USB-C to USB-A cable, and the 67W charger. There's a pre-installed screen protector as well. There are no earphones included in the box.

Build Quality/Design

The back design
The back design

Checking the materials used, the back panel is made out of glasstic material. It also has a frame made out of polycarbonate material with metal inside as well. In the front, it uses a display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, the toughest protection on smartphones yet.

Xiaomi hasn't mentioned if it has water resistance, but its SIM tray has a rubber gasket. It suggests that it has some sort of protection against accidental water splashes. Just don't drop it in water.

The materials used are similar to the Pro version

We would have liked it better if the panel is really made out of glass for a more premium feel. But in general, the build is what you will expect from a premium mid-ranger. We also like that it has a pre-installed screen protector and a FREE case to protect it from having dents from unwanted drops.

How about its design? Out of the box, the Xiaomi 11T looks amazing.

The Mi 11T is a modern-looking mid-ranger with a unique back finish. First, it uses a curved backplate to provide better comfort in the hand to its user. Second, it is available in different colors Meteorite Gray, Moonlight White, and Celestial Blue. The Meteorite Gray version that we are using even has that sleek brushed look. It has a head-turning shiny look as well.

The back also features a rectangular camera bump with the 108MP triple-camera system. The cameras themselves are protected by the glass too. There is minimal branding as well at the back.

One thing of note here, the screen and the back panels really attract a lot of fingerprints. It is also a bit slippery to hold. Thankfully, there's a silicone case included for that.

Fourth, the front panel is a large  6.67-inch AMOLED DotDisplay with 2400 x 1080 FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 1,000 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. It also has Adaptive Sync that switches between different refresh rates automatically according to what tasks are on screen. This is great for battery life.

What we like the best here is it has thin bezels on all four corners. It also has a top-center punch-hole housing the 16MP selfie camera instead of a notch making it have a more immersive viewing experience.
Top and bottom ports

On top. it features a speaker grill and a microphone. The bottom has the SIM tray, another microphone, a USB-C port, and another speaker grill. The SIM tray features a dual-SIM design with a back-to-back form factor. There is no microSD card slot though.
Left and right sides
Left and right sides

On the left, there is nothing but a smooth and shiny frame. On the right side, we get the volume controls and the power button/side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The device measures 164.1 x 76.9 x 8.8mm and weighs 203 grams. Overall, the phone has good ergonomics that is easy on the hand. However, the finish at the back and sides make it a bit slippery. The camera bump also has a substantial height. For further protection, usage of the included case or other protective case is highly recommended.

In terms of camera, it has a triple-camera setup with 108MP f/1.75 9-in-1 Super Pixel + 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide-angle + 5MP f/2.4 3cm telemacro sensor + LED flash. Xiaomi is highlighting the CineMagic shooting experience here for video. It has video recording features such as Magic Zoom with AI assistance, Macroscope video, Audio Zoom, Pro Timelapse, Slow Motion, Cinematic Filters, One-Click AI Cinema, Kaleidoscope mode, Freeze Frame, and Video clone.

The selfie camera is a 16MP f/2.45 sensor with Night Mode. Below are some of the first camera samples!

As of the moment

How is it so far?
How is it so far?

For as low as PHP 21,990, the Xiaomi 11T is a very competitive device with a premium look, powerful specs, 108MP triple-camera system, and a 120Hz AMOLED screen. The battery is also big with a 5,000mAh cell and 67W fast charging.

But, the big battery may be a necessity due to the 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED screen. Thankfully, Adaptive Sync is available for a bit of refresh rate management for better battery life.

Thermals are the only main concern we found during our unboxing and first impressions.
