Strategy Analytics: Apple shipped the most 5G phones (Q3 2021)

According to the latest research by Strategy Analytics, Apple shipped the most 5G smartphones in Q3 2021.

Apple is number 1!

Apple bested its rivals in the number of phones sold and in revenue. It consistently remained the best-selling 5G phone in the world.

Strategy Analytics notes that for all vendors in Q3 2021, the total revenue from 5G sales has tripled.

Meanwhile, Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has a steady hold of the number 2 spot. Xiaomi had dramatic growth in Q2 2021, but shipment growth flat sequentially in the most recent quarter

South Korean firm Samsung climbs to number 3 by slightly edging out Chinese premium brand OPPO.

The next company on the list is vivo. Interestingly, HONOR is on this list as well. This happened in a quick time after the company separated from Huawei earlier this year. Reportedly, HONOR grew by 194 percent QoQ (quarter-on-quarter).

The last brand visible in the graph is realme. Motorola also had good growth in shipments last quarter.
