Canon CR-X300 outdoor 4K all-in-one camera with 20x zoom, OIS and IP65 launched!

Canon has launched the new CR-X300 Pan-Tilt-Zoom 4K all-in-one camera with 20x optical zoom, 4-axis OIS, and IP65 water resistance rating!

Canon has recently launched the new CR-X300 professional PTZ camera that can capture 4K UHD footage. It features an IP65 rated body that can operate in conditions as cold as -15 degrees Celsius and as hot as 40 degrees Celsius. 

At the core of the new outdoor Pan-Tilt-Zoom camera are a 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor and the DIGIC DV6 image processor that can capture up to 4K at 30fps at 4:2:2 10-bit footage. It features both contrast and phase-detect AF and is equipped with an internal 1/8 graduated ND filter for extremely bright conditions. 

It features a 29.3mm to 601mm 35mm equivalent focal length lens that offers 20x optical zoom and an additional 20x digital zoom in FHD. The whole camera can pan horizontally -+180 degrees and vertically -40 to +215 degrees.

The camera can communicate via LAN, Serial, 1000Base-T, SDI Out, GEN-LOCK, HDMI, RS-45, and AUX.

Inside the box is the CR-X300 main unit, power cable, connector cover, Installation guide, and EAC leaflet. 
Looks like the Portal robot?

It is now available in Europe and the United States but there is no word yet pricing. It is unknown whether it will arrive in the Philippines.
