New affordable 5G phone from HONOR

Upfront the device uses a 6.74-inch TFT LCD panel with HD+ resolution with 90Hz refresh rate and TUV Rheinland certification. Its display has a dewdrop notch which houses a 5MP selfie shooter and has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.7 percent. At the back, you'd find the premium glossy design and 2 camera bumps copied from the Huawei P50.

Inside is MediaTek's 7nm Dimensity 700 SoC, paired with 3 RAM options—4GB/6GB/8GB and single 128GB memory space.

While its battery capacity has 5,000mAh and can be charged using the 22.5W fast charging tech.

Despite the huge camera bumps it is nothing special as the dual sensor only uses 13MP for the main and a 2MP module for depth shooting.

Based on the images, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on its power button. Meanwhile, its connectivity features are Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band WiFi, dual SIM, 4G, 5G, GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou), 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, and a MicroSD card slot.

The handset has all of the necessary sensors, including an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, proximity light sensor, and a fingerprint sensor on the side. It has dimensions of 167.59 77.19 8.62 mm, weighs 198 grams, and comes in four colorways of either Black, Silver, Blue, or Gold.

Preorders for the smartphone are already available, followed by official sales which will be on December 31. However, there's no news yet for its availability here in the Philippines.
