LG intros two new unique TVs dubbed as the StandbyME and Objet

LG introduces "StandbyME", a 27-inch LCD TV that can rotate on its height-adjustable stand, and the "Objet" an OLED TV that looks like a painting.

Two uniquely designed TVs!

The StandbyME TV has a fabric finish at the back for minimalist design, it can also be detached from the stand in case you want to put it in your lap. But when it is mounted to the stand, the screen may swivel tilt, or rotate to portrait orientation.

Rear design

The South Korean tech company didn't share any information about the resolution of its display or other features such as HDR. Although, the TV can also double as a multimedia tablet as it has a touchscreen interface and offer streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube.

Can be placed near the couch

Moving to the "Objet", it is a 65-inch TV with an OLED Evo panel and is designed to just lean on the wall. At first glance, you might have mistaken it as a piece of art because it has a resemblance to that of painting in a Museum.

LG says that you may raise or lower the fabric cover under the 65-inch OLED screen using the remote. It's also interchangeable and will be available in three colors designed by the "Danish textile innovator, Kvadrat."

The company says that its OLED Evo panel can deliver higher peak brightness compared to an older generation of LG's OLEDs. For its audio, they included an 80-watt, 4.2-channel sound system built into the device.

As for its pricing and availability, the company hasn't shared any details yet on both uniquely designed TVs. There should be more information to come around next year.
