First up, the vivo S12 features a flat-body design with curved edges, a rectangular camera bump with three cameras, and three colors in Black, Blue, and Gold. It also has a fairly wide notch housing the dual-selfie cameras.

It has a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 2376 x 1080 FHD+ resolution, HDR10+, 98 percent NTSC color gamut, and up to 1,300 nits peak brightness. Inside, it has the 6nm 2.6GHz MediaTek Dimensity 1100 octa-core processor, Mali-G77 MC9 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,200 mAh battery with 44W fast charging.

For cameras, it has a triple-camera setup with 108MP f/1.88 main sensor + 8MP f/2.2 119-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor + 2MP f/2.4 macro sensor with LED flash. It also has a dual-selfie camera with 44MP f/2.0 main + 8MP f/2.28 105-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor.

The vivo S12 Pro, it has the same design as the non-Pro version. It has a 6.56-inch AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 2376 x 1080 FHD+ resolution, HDR10+, 98 percent NTSC color gamut, and up to 1,300 nits peak brightness. Inside, it has the 6nm 3.0GHz MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI octa-core processor, Mali-G77 MC9 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,300 mAh battery with 44W fast charging.

For cameras, it has a triple-camera setup with 108MP f/1.88 main sensor + 8MP f/2.2 119-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor + 2MP f/2.4 macro sensor with LED flash. It also has a dual-selfie camera with 50MP f/2.0 Samsung JNV main + 8MP f/2.28 105-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor.

Both will run Android 11 out of the box with Origin OS Ocean on top. Both also feature WiFi 6, 5G, dual 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and USB-C ports.

The vivo S12 series will start to go on sale in China starting December 30. No word of local pricing and availability yet. We will update you as soon as we get more information.
