In Xiamen, the 7th Jimei x Arles International Photo Festival kicked off today. This year, vivo VISION+ Project made its debut, presenting the "Our Moments, Create Together" exhibition in collaboration with Jimei x Arles. 

Photos taken with vivo smartphones by internationally acclaimed photographers and judges of the vivo VISION+ Mobile PhotoAwards 2021, such as Martin Parr and Xiao Quan, as well as a selection of excellent VISION+ Mobile PhotoAwards entries, are featured in the exhibition.

All of vivo VISION+'s exhibits were shot using the company's smartphones between 2020 and 2021. Entries include photographs by famous photographers who attempted mobile photography for professional work for the first time, everyday scenarios shot by VISION+ Mobile PhotoAwards contestants, and images depicting today's society are among them. These entries show how a single image can express profound significance, all while exhibiting the portability and accessibility of smartphones as a photography tool.

Last November, vivo announced the winners of the vivo VISION+ Mobile PhotoAwards 2021. Xiao Quan, Martin Parr, Jonas Bendiksen, and other experienced photographers served on the panel, which evaluated submissions from over 40 nations and regions and chose 30 winners. 

Across countries and locations, these photographs showcase human interactions, personal experiences, and public events. Great images, according to vivo, should depict the beauty of ordinary life. They should be present at the moment and express authentic emotions. 

Smartphone cameras capture intimate moments in ordinary life, transforming our phones into a private archive of our most treasured memories. This was also the original goal of vivo's collaboration with Jimei x Arles International Picture Festival in staging the photo show "Our Moments, Create Together."
