TECNO POP 5X with Android 10 Go Edition and 4,000mAh battery launched in Mexico!

TECNO quietly lists the new POP 5X with a 6.5-inch HD+ display and 4,000mAh battery on its official Mexican website.

POP 5X silently launches!

TECNO quietly launched the POP 5 Pro in early January 2022. A few weeks later, the company also lists the new POP 5X on its website on the down-low in Mexico.

The new POP 5X features a large 6.5-inch Dot-Notch display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 and a screen-to-body ratio of 94 percent. Inside is an unnamed processor with 2GB RAM, 32GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. GizmoChina speculates that the processor could be the UNISOC SC9832CE processor.

Powering the device is a large 4,000mAh battery. Other features include a fingerprint scanner and support for Face Unlock.

On the notch is a 5MP front-facing selfie camera while at the back is an 8MP triple rear camera with an LED flash.

It is running Android 10 Go Edition out of the box and it will come in either Crystal Blue or Cosmic Shine colorways.

GizmoChina says that these specifications are the same as the itel Vision 1 Pro.

Not much is known about the phone. There is no information on pricing and availability for the Mexican and Philippine markets yet.
