The 1st list

A dead-end for these products

These devices were launched a couple of years ago and have reached the End-of-Life list. The notable smartphones included are the Redmi Note 7 Series, Mi 8 Series, and  Mi 9 SE. Alongside those are a couple of tablets and other limited edition phones. You may view the picture above for the full details.

Meanwhile, the second list refers to products that will no longer receive after-sales services such as repair and replacement of parts. However, the owners of these items will still be able to claim to test, clean, and debug services. The devices included here are the ones we knew way back like the Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 4X, Redmi Note 5, and 6 Pro.

The second list of devices only applies to the Chinese market, although the situation for the global market is unlikely to change significantly. For the full info, you may refer to the second photo.

The 2nd list

These Xiaomi end-of-life devices will no longer receive security and MIUI interface updates and Android platform updates. This means you'll be stuck with the Android version on your device permanently unless you do some workarounds with it.

What do you guys think? Is your device included?
