Razer DeathStalker V2 is now official!

This launch makes the return of the DeathStalker keyboard line. It boasts Razer Low-profile Optical Switches, Razer HyperSpeed Wireless, and laser-etched keycaps.

Razer's new Low-Profile Optical Switches are said to bring a lightspeed switch actuation to low-profile keyboards via an infra-red beam of light to register keypresses. To keep it short, Razer claims that it brings zero debounce delay on each key press, giving a faster, more responsive keyboard for gaming and a cleaner, crisper feel for typing.

It is available in Linear and Clicky variants. The Linear variant has an actuation point of just 1.2mm with 2.8mm of total travel and an actuation force of just 45 grams. The Clicky variant actuation point is 1.5mm, with tactile feedback at the same point, and a full journey of 2.8mm from 50 grams of actuation force.

The keyboard is available in 3 different iterations, the DeathStalker V2,  DeathStalker V2 Pro Tenkeyless, and DeathStalker V2 Pro.

It also features the 5052 Aluminum Alloy Top Case, Razer Low-profile Optical Switches with a 70-million keystroke lifespan, ultra-durable coated ABS keycaps, a multi-functional media button + media roller, the fully programmable key with on-the-fly-macro recording, N-key rollover, gaming mode option, and Razer Chroma RGB customizable backlighting with 16.8 million color options.

What's different is it has the Razer HyperSpeed Wireless Technology, HyperSpeed Multi-device Support,  HyperSpeed Wireless (2.4 GHz), and Bluetooth connectivity.

Of course, it still connects via USB-C cable if you want.

The top-of-the-line Razer DeathStalker V2 Pro is similar to the Tenkeyless, but it has a dedicated Numpad on the right.

The wireless versions promise up to 40 hours of battery life for the regular Pro and up to 50 hours for the TKL variant.

All 3 keyboards are compatible with Razer Synapse cloud-based hardware configuration tool.

The original DeathStalker became a fan favorite due to its innovative chiclet-style design and next-level typing feel within a sleek low-profile form factor, said Chris Mitchell, Head of the PC Gaming Division at Razer. With the new DeathStalker V2 range, we’ve kept the low-profile aesthetic of the original keyboard, but included our latest technology innovations, such as Razer Optical Switches and Razer HyperSpeed Wireless, to give gamers a fast, feature-packed gaming keyboard experience.
