ICYMI: Motorola unveiled the X30 Pro with 200MP cam and S30 Pro!

Motorola announces two smartphones called the X30 Pro and S30 Pro which both come with beefed-up internals.

Two devices unveiled by Motorola!

Let's start first with the top-tier model which is the Motorola X30 Pro, it comes in with premium glass on its back available in Black or White colorways, while upfront you will see a curved screen and centered punch hole display.

It uses a 6.67-inch OLED panel with FHD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 1200 nits max brightness, HDR10+  support, and a fingerprint reader on the display.

Inside it is using a 4nm 3.2GHz Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core processor with a new-gen Adreno GPU. It is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and u to 512GB of storage.

The battery side uses a 4,610mAh battery with USB-C and 125W wired fast charging. It can also charge wirelessly through the 50W Motorola wireless charging pad.

Its cameras would be the main highlight here as this will be the first handset to bear a 200MP camera.
It has a 1/1.22′′ sensor with an aperture of f/1.95, OIS, and 16-in-1 pixel binning from Samsung. In its default 12.5MP resolution, the 200MP camera can bin its pixels 16-to-1 to 2.56m in size. It can also produce 50MP still images with 1.28μm individual pixels or 200MP images with 0.64mμm
 pixels natively. The main camera can also record up to 8K video at 30 frames per second.

It is also coupled with a 50MP ultrawide sensor and a 12MP Sony IMX663 with 2x telephoto. Meanwhile, the front-facing shooter uses 60MP.

Up next will be the Motorola S30 Pro, this device shares a similar design on both front and back as it also has a curved display.

However, it is slightly reduced to 6.5-inch but it still uses an OLED panel with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

Inside it will be the 5nm 3.0GHz Snapdragon 888+ octa-core processor with Adreno 660 GPU. It is paired with a similar storage configuration of up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.

The battery is also slightly toned down to 4,400mAh and USB-C 68W fast charging.

For connectivity both devices sports dual-band WiFi, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS navigation.

While the software side both runs Android 12 with MyUI 4.0 skin on top.

The open sales have already started in China however there's no news yet for its availability in the Philippines.
