Apple AirPods Pro (2nd generation) with 2x stronger ANC is now official, priced at PHP 14,990!

Apart from the new iPhones, Apple also launched the new AirPods Pro (2nd generation) earlier.

The device now has a slightly different look in a Dark Grey colorway with IPX4 water resistance for both the AirPods Pro 2 

Highlights of the new AirPods Pro (2nd generation)

featuring a new custom high-excursion audio driver, custom high dynamic range amplifier, and vent system for pressure equalization. Apple said that it is using a low distortion audio driver for even more details and clarity.

It also has a new Apple H2 headphone chip, Personalized Spatial Audio on iOS 16, Adaptive EQ, dual-beamforming microphones, an inward-facing microphone, and Active Noise Cancellation.

According to Apple, this is 2x stronger than its previous ANC tech. It also has an adaptive transparency mode tech allowing its users to be aware of their surroundings when needed.

What's new here is it now has a touch control on the stem for volume controls.

It connects via Bluetooth 5.3 and also supports 48kHz audio for SharePlay. But, there is no mention of lossless audio, unlike the competition.

The device also has up to 6 hours of listening time and up to 30 hours with the charging case.

The charging case now has a speaker and lanyard loop and could be charged via Lightning to USB-C cable. It can also be charged with a Qi-certified charger, Apple Watch charger, and MagSafe.

It now has 4 silicone ear tips as well including the new XS size.

Price and availability

In the Philippines, the device is priced at PHP 14,990. But, there is no info regarding its availability details yet.
