At the Crimson Resort and Spa Boracay, the Asian Carriers Conference 2022 kicks off. The event is joined by leading regional operators, top vendors, and key telecom players where the theme is centered on Adapt, Collaborate and Conquer.

The opening festivities were hosted by Catherine "Cathy" Yap-Yang, the head of the PLDT-Smart corporate communications group. She was joined by FiberHome Marketing Director Spark Zhang, HUAWEI CTO and IT Director Arnie Alvarez, Boracay Mayor Frolibar Bautista, PLDT Global President and CEO Albert Villa-Real, PLDT-Smart FVP and head of Enterprise Group Jojo Gendrano and PCCW VP Mobility and Voice Services Yogesh Lulla.

In an exclusive interview during the event, PLDT Global President and CEO Albert Villa-Real spoke about their more recent projects that include TINBO or TINdahan ni BOssing which allows OFWs to access financial and connectivity services abroad.
