Nothing Phone (1)

1. Nothing Phone (1) - Released back in July, the Nothing Phone (1) is a very interesting smartphone. Starting at PHP 27,990, you get a uniquely designed smartphone with its Glyph Interface at the back, good specs with 5G, a lot of great features, an OLED screen, and a robust rear camera setup with 50MP + 50MP dual sensors. The Nothing Phone (1) feels more premium than its asking price so we highly recommend it!

2. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 - Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 is the latest iteration of the Korean tech giant's foldable smartphone. Starting at PHP 98,990, Samsung just built on its last-gen foldable smartphone. It features a better screen, faster CPU and GPU with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core processor, and battery cameras. We really like the Galaxy Z Fold4 and if you want a smaller one, the Galaxy Z Flip4 could be the one for you.

3. OnePlus 10T - Starting at PHP 35,990, the OnePlus 10T is one of the few smartphones that carry the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 under PHP 37K. It also has a 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED with Gorilla Glass protection, a 4,800mAh battery with 150W SUPERVOOC charging, a 50MP main camera with OIS, and an overall stylish look. In short, we think the OnePlus 10T is one of the best value for money in terms of performance.

Infinix NOTE 12 Pro 5G - One of the budget-friendly smartphones of 2022, the Infinix NOTE 12 Pro 5G offers an FHD+ AMOLED screen, Dimensity 810 octa-core processor, Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage, 108MP main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W Super Charge. It also has 5G connectivity and stereo speakers just like the three devices before it but for less.

5. vivo V25 Pro 5G - For PHP 29,999, the vivo V25 Pro 5G features a premium design with a 3D curved glass design. In front, it has a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 300Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+ support.

It also has the 3.0GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1300 octa-core processor with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. It is paired with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, Extended RAM 3.0 tech with up to 8GB additional RAM (total of 20GB RAM), 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, and a larger 4,830mAh battery with faster 66W FlashCharge tech that can provide 40 percent battery life in just 15 mins of charge.

6. realme GT Neo 3 - Priced at PHP 29,999, the realme GT Neo 3 features an interesting design with its racing strips accent at the back. It has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 2412 x 1080 FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a dedicated display processor, HDR10+ support, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and 394 ppi pixel density.

Inside, it has the 2.85GHz MediaTek Dimensity 8100 octa-core processor, Mali-G610 MC6 GPU, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W SuperDart Charge.

It also has a triple-camera setup with 50MP f/1.88 Sony IMX766 w/ PDAF, OIS + 8MP f/2.25 119-degree ultra-wide-angle + 2MP 4cm macro + dual LED flash. For selfies, there's the 16MP f/2.45 Samsung S5K3P9 sensor.

7. POCO X4 GT - The POCO X4 GT also makes a great case at PHP 18,990. It features a solid design made out of plastic, metal, and glass. In front, it has a 6.6-inch Gorilla Glass 5 protected IPS LCD screen with 144Hz refresh rate, 270Hz touch sampling rate, 7-stage DynamicSwitch, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and FHD+ 2460 x 1080 resolution at 407 ppi pixel density.

Inside, it features the 2.85GHz MediaTek Dimensity 8100 octa-core processor, Mali-G610 MC6 GPU, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,080mAh battery with 67W turbo charging.

For cameras, it has a triple-camera setup with 64MP f/1.89 main sensor + 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide-angle + 2MP f/2.4 macro + LED flash. It also has a 16MP selfie camera.

8. OPPO Reno8 5G - The OPPO Reno8 5G offers a very well-rounded smartphone for just PHP 27,999. First off, it looks pretty with a sleek design featuring the "Shimmer" finish. It also has a 6.4-inch 2.5D curved AMOLED screen with 2400 x 1080 FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 1,000Hz touch response rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

For performance, it has a 3.0GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1300 octa-core processor, Mali-G77 MC9 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 expandable storage. This is a good performance specs sheet with a respectably fast CPU and GPU for multitasking and gaming, ample RAM to avoid slowdowns and HUGE storage for all your files and apps.

It also features Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1, WiFi 6, 5G, and Bluetooth 5.3 LE. In terms of cooling, it has the Super-Conductive VC Liquid Cooling System that features a larger liquid cooling system, a graphite heatsink, and a superconductive middle frame.

Even the camera system is good, it has a triple-camera setup with 50MP f/1.8 Sony IMX766 w/ All-Pixel Omni-Directional PDAF + 8MP f/2.2 119-degree ultra-wide-angle w/ EIS + 2MP f/2.4 4cm macro + LED flash. It also has a HUGE 32MP Sony IMX709 RGBW selfie sensor.

This rear camera setup features a well-rounded array of sensors. The 50MP Sony IMX766 with the All-Pixel Omni-Directional PDAF allows for accurate and fast autofocus for quick snapshots. In addition, the 32MP Sony IMX709 RGBW selfie camera can deliver crisp and detailed selfies.
