What does the Netflix X MTRCB partnership mean for users?

To keep it simple, MTRCB will collaborate with Netflix to push for the responsible use of parental controls. According to MTRCB, the firm wants to look after the well-being of Filipino viewers of all ages. It wants to ultimately prevent children from being exposed to inappropriate content.

MTRCB will boost the promotion of Netflix's existing parental control features such as using a PIN code and creating a designated "Kids" profile for younger viewers. The MTRCB is looking forward to other streaming services following Netflix's proactive approach in this matter.

We do get the need for regulating appropriate content for children in services such as Netflix. Boosting the knowledge of users about existing preventive features such as the ones mentioned above is a good first step to take.

We look forward to what other regulatory measures MTRCB can come up with in the future.
