Xiaomi 12T Pro is now official and boasts a monster 200MP main cam!
Xiaomi today launched its newest premium smartphone, the 12T Pro. The primary highlight of this device is the 200MP shooter.

Xiaomi has a new smartphone with a 200MP main camera!
In particular, the Xiaomi 12T Pro uses a MASSIVE 200MP f/1.69 Samsung ISOCELL HP1 main sensor with a 1/1.22-inch sensor size. This big sensor can do up to 2x in-sensor lossless zoom and has the 16-in-1 pixel binning tech at 2.56μm size.
It also has the Xiaomi ProFocus tech with Motion tracking focus, Motion capture, and Eye tracking focus. The sensor also supports OIS for stabilization, 8K video recording, and HDR10+ videos.
According to Xiaomi, this main camera will allow its users to enjoy superb imagery with high clarity, strong night photography, and quick focusing with fine details even in low light.
The primary camera is very impressive on paper, but its 2nd and 3rd cameras are disappointing. Xiaomi only paired its 200MP shooter with a forgettable 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP f/2.4 macro shooter.
The rest of the specs
The rest of the specs are quite nice. The device has an anti-glare frosted glass back that is resistant to smudges, a 6.67-inch CrystalRes 120Hz AMOLED screen with SGS Low Visual Fatigue Certification and In-Display fingerprint scanner, flagship 3.2Hz 4nm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core processor, 5,000mAh battery with USB-C 120W HyperCharge, stereo speakers, and MIUI 13 skin, among others.
