CES 2023: MSI announces new gaming laptops with 13th Gen Intel Core HX CPUs, NVIDIA RTX 40 series GPU!

MSI just launched a bunch of new gaming laptops powered by the 13th Gen Intel Core HX CPUs and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs.

Here are the new MSI gaming laptops announced for 2023!

MSI Titan GT series, Raider GE series, Vector GP series

MSI Stealth series

First, we have the MSI Raider GE series will have up to a 17-inch IPS screen with 2560 x 1600 QHD+ resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. Inside, it can have up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13980HX processor, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 16GB GDDR6 GPU, up to 64GB DDR5 RAM with 2x slots, support for PCIe Gen5 m.2 NVMe SSD, and a 99.9Whr battery with a 330W charger.

It also has a SteelSeries keyboard with per-key RGB lighting, a 6-speaker system by Dynaudio, Nahimic 3 Audio Enhance, Hi-Res Audio, Thunderbolt 4, USB-C 3.2 Gen2, USB-C 3.2 Gen2, USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, SD card slot, Intel Killer Ethernet E3100, Intel Killer WiFi 6E, and IR webcam.

MSI Vector GP series, on the other hand, features a 17.3-inch IPS screen with 2560 x 1440 QHD+ resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. Inside, it can have up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900HX processor, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 8GB GDDR6 GPU, up to 64GB DDR5 RAM with 2x slots, support for 2x PCIe Gen4 m.2 NVMe SSD, and a 65Whr battery with a 240W charger.

It also has a SteelSeries keyboard with per-key RGB lighting, 2x 2W stereo speakers, Nahimic 3 Audio Enhance, Hi-Res Audio, Thunderbolt 4, 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen2, 3x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, Intel Killer WiFi 6E, and IHD webcam.

We now turn to the MSI Stealth series with up to a 15.6-inch IPS/OLED screen with up to a 3840 x 2160 UHD screen, up to a 240Hz refresh rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and VESA DisplayHDR 600. 

Inside, it can have up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700HX processor, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 8GB GDDR6 GPU, up to 64GB DDR5 RAM with 2x slots, support for 2x PCIe Gen4 m.2 NVMe SSD, and a 72Whr battery with a 240W slim charger.

The MSI Cyborg series has an excellent transparent design that allows you to see the mechanism and electronic parts inside. It also has a Blue backlit gaming keyboard. The screen is a 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS screen with a 144Hz refresh rate.

Inside, it can have up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12650H processor, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, up to dual-channel 64GB DDR4 RAM, 1x PCIe Gen4 m.2 NVME SSD, and a 53.5Whr battery with 120W charger.

The MSI Katana series comes in 17 and 15-inch models. It can have up to a 17.3-inch IPS screen with 1920 x 1080 FHD resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. For performance, it can have up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13620H processor, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, up to dual-channel 64GB DDR5 RAM, 2x PCIe Gen4 x4 m.2 NVME SSD, and a 53.5Whr battery with 120W charger.

Lastly, we have the MSI Sword series with a 15 and 17-inch variant. It can have up to a 17.3-inch IPS screen with a 1920 x 1080 FHD resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate or a 15.6-inch IPS screen with a 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution, and a 240Hz refresh rate.

Inside, the MSI Sword series can have up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700H processor, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 8GB GDDR6, 2x 64GB DDR5 RAM, 1x PCIe Gen4 x4 m.2 NVME SSD, and a 90Whr battery with 240W charger.
