The said prestigious event is presented by Village Pipol Magazine which primarily holds 74M reach on Facebook last year and remained unchallenged in terms of this kind of industry.

Last January 13, the official list of nominees was announced comprising more than 90 categories introduced for its 4th edition and will continue to honor Pipol's top picks from travel, lifestyle, technology, business, and entertainment sectors.

There will be a voting period that will happen from February 10 to March 10. Meanwhile, these criteria will determine the winners: 30 percent from the VP Choice Awards' Facebook shares, 20 percent from Village Pipol's Facebook shares, 30 percent from the firm's editorial team, and 20 percent from expert panelists.

The theme for this year's edition is called  "Supernova: Our Brilliant Burst of Light". The Editorial firm says that "this signifies the time to embrace our burgeoning blast and champion our luminous explosion—the brilliance in our bursting light".

Additionally, the previous two events were only held virtually but this coming March 29, VPCA will finally resume its live ceremony. The said awarding ceremony will take place at the Glass Garden Events in Pasig City.

The VPCA is produced by Village Pipol and Red Entertainment and is also co-presented by Itel and Fleek. This year's sponsors are Bayong Republic, Tea Ni Juan, Jacko's Burger, and Dimsum Panda.

Meanwhile, their media partners are GIZGUIDEPH, blogapalooza, Mindanao Daily News, Business Week, the Manila Times, and Orange Magazines.
