Elon Musk replaces Twitter bird logo with Shiba Inu, Dogecoin jumps

Billionaire and Twitter boss Elon Musk earlier replaced the bird logo with the Doge meme.

Doge now rules over Twitter!

The latest stunt of Musk will now allow you to see the "Doge" in the upper left corner of the Twitter interface of your web browser. 

At the moment, it seems Musk is really having fun with this latest stunt and he is just playing around with his USD 44 billion (PHP 2.4 trillion) investment.

But aside from "having fun" of the reasons why Musk did this is to increase the value of Dogecoin. Since his announcement, the value of DOGE (Dogecoin) has surged.

As of writing, 1 Dogecoin is now PHP 5.35 from PHP 4.30 yesterday (roughly around 24 percent).

There is no word if "Doge" will be the permanent "new" logo of Twitter.

For mobile, Twitter is still using the old logo.
