24/7 online consultations for Makati City employees
In a statement, Globe said that the initial rollout would only cover city hall employees. But residents with yellow cards would start enjoying this service "later this year," it said.
Globe said this marks KonsultaMD's first partnership with a local government unit within the capital region.
We are honored to be part of this groundbreaking initiative and work with the City of Makati in improving their healthcare system. As a telehealth company, KonsultaMD is dedicated to providing quality healthcare services to every Filipino. Our partnership with the City of Makati is a significant step towards achieving this goal, said KonsultaMD CEO Cholo Tagaysay.
Benefits that can be provided aside from video consultations include e-prescriptions, e-laboratory requests, e-medical certificates, general health consultations, proper medical prescriptions, and mental health support.
For Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, meanwhile, the partnership can ease foot traffic in hospitals, while believing that KonsultaMD can help boost the city’s healthcare services offered to the public.
We understand the challenges our citizens face in accessing healthcare services, especially during these trying times. That is why we have partnered with the Globe Group and KonsultaMD to provide Makatizens with a reliable and convenient way to address their needs, Binay said.
