Nothing Phone (2) will be available in the Philippines

This simply means that similar to other Nothing devices, the company will carry the next-generation Nothing smartphone and the device will be officially available in the country.

Not much is known about the said device for now. But, its CEO Carl Pei on Twitter revealed that it will be powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core processor (up to 3.2GHz clockspeed) with New-Adreno GPU and an18-bit Image Signal Processor (ISP) capable of capturing over 4,000 times more camera data than the ISP used on Phone (1).

Carl is calling it a "premium-tier" chip as it is Qualcomm's former flagship processor. The new flagship this year is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

According to Carl, the device will be twice as fast as the Phone (1) with an 80 percent overall improvement. It will also be significantly better in battery life, network connectivity, battery life, and cameras.

The Phone (2) camera will also offer advanced features like Raw HDR and 4K recording at 60 fps.

The CEO noted that the reason why they chose the former flagship chip is to make the Phone (2) accessible while delivering a significantly improved performance.

Also, the GIF teaser showed that it has a slider-like key and a blinking red indicator at the back.

To be updated on when the device will be released, Nothing is inviting those who are interested in the Nothing Phone (2) to sign up on this link.

The device is arriving in the summer of 2023. Nothing is based in London and summer there starts on June 21, 2023.
