Apple MacBook Air 15 launched: 15.3-inch Liquid Retina screen, M2 chip, price starts at JUST PHP 82,990

At Apple's WWDC23 event, the American tech giant launched several new devices and services. It includes the new MacBook Air 15.

Super lightweight yet powerful and "affordable"

The new MacBook Air is just 11.5 mm thin weighing just 1.496 kg. This is 40 percent thinner, half a pound lighter, and is said to be 12x faster than the fastest Intel MacBook Air models. It is also up to a 2x faster PC laptop with an Intel Core i7 processor and up to 50 percent longer battery life.

In particular, the device is boasting a 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display (2880 x 1864 resolution) with True Tone tech, a 4nm Apple M2 chip with an 8-Core CPU, 10-Core GPU, and a 16-Core Neural Engine.

It also has 8GB Unified Memory (up to 24GB), up to 2TB SSD storage, up to 18 hours battery life, 35W Dual USB-C Port Compact Power Adapter (option for 70W USB-C Power Adapter), 1080p FaceTime HD camera, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, Force Touch trackpad, 6x speakers (2x tweeters, 4x force-canceling woofers, spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, 3x microphones, MagSafe3 charging port, 2x Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports, and a fanless design, and runs with macOS Ventura out of the box.

It is available in Midnight, Starlight, Space Gray, and Silver colorways.

Apple earlier revealed the list of iOS 17 compatible devices which includes the 2018 iPhone XR and XS Series.
