Threads on the web available soon

In a post on his Threads account, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg shared the photo of him above with the caption "Actual footage of me building Threads for web."

He also said: "Rolling out over the next few days."

Meta said Threads users will soon be able to log in, post, view, and interact with other posts using a browser.
We tried accessing threads.net, but only a QR code to download the app appeared as of 4:37 PM.

CNN said it was able to have an early access test. It said it was able to post but it was unable to scroll the home feed.

Meta launched Threads in July and is considered to be the direct competitor of X (formerly Twitter).

In its first week, Threads logged more than 100 million sign-ups. But the hype faded as users discovered missing features that are available on X.

Meta employees have teased the new Threads version for weeks, saying it is being tested internally.

Prior to the web version, Meta in the past month added features like "reposts" and "likes" tabs, as well as a button to share Threads posts to IG DM.

What do you think about this?
