Confirmed to arrive in the Redmi Note 13 Pro+!

We previously reported that teasers for the upcoming Redmi Note 13 Pro+ have been spotted alongside the confirmation of the new MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra. MediaTek has taken to Weibo to reveal more information on the new chipset.

It is based on TSMC's second-generation 4nm process, also used in flagship platforms. It has 2 high-performance 2.8GHz ARM Cortex-A715 cores and 6 energy-efficient Cortex-A510 cores, making it ideal for multi-tasking and handling multiple background applications without slowing down.

Its standout feature is the integration of the ARM Mali-G610 GPU and the APU650 power-efficient AI processor. MediaTek claims this combination prolongs battery life.

Inside is the Imagiq 765 14-bit HDR-ISP image signal processor that supports up to 200MP sensor that promises faster and clearer photo and video recording.

GizmoChina says that the chipset is 5G-compatible and will support dual 5G standby, VoNR, and carrier aggregation. It will also feature HyperEngine 5.0 gaming engine that supports variable rendering, intelligent control and more.

As previously mentioned, the SoC will first arrive inside the upcoming Redmi Note 13 Pro+ which is equipped with a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor.

Stay tuned for more information of the upcoming chipset and smartphone.
