HUAWEI Mobile tweeted that the countdown to groundbreaking innovation has begun with an attached image of what looks like a tablet and accessories.
GSMArena reports that HUAWEI could be introducing either the MatePad Pro 13.2 or the MatePad Pro 11 2024 or maybe even both. The website also speculated that the unknown accessories on the top right corner could be earphones or another smart device with HarmonyOS.
The aforementioned HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2 was launched in China back in September of this year. It features the world's first flexible OLED panel with a 13.2-inch size, 94 percent screen-to-body ratio, a 2880 x 1920 resolution, a 1,000 nits peak brightness, a 3:2 aspect ratio, a 1440Hz PWM dimming, and a Rheinland Global Eye Protection 3.0 certification.
What is even more impressive is that the brand claims it is the world's thinnest and lightest tablet for its screen size at only 5.5mm thin and weighs only 580 grams.
Inside the tablet are the 7nm 2.62GHz Kirin 9000s 12-core chip with Maleoon 910 GPU, 52,000 square mm graphite cooling area, Vapor chamber cooling, up to 16GB RAM, up to 1TB storage, and a large 10,100mAh battery with 88W fast charging via USB-C.
Other features of the tablet include 6 dual-channel speakers made up of 2 high-frequency and 4 high-frequency speakers. It works with the M-Pencil and promises 10,000 levels of pressure and 0ms low latency.
The smaller MatePad Pro 11 was introduced two months later with a smaller screen and dimensions but similar specs.
Both tablets have thin bezels and feature a lightweight body.
What we find more mysterious are the unknown accessories on the top right corner.
