OPPO A59 5G launched: 90Hz 6.56-inch screen, Dimensity 6020, and 128GB storage!

OPPO has announced perhaps the final A-series device for this year dubbed as the A59 5G.

Similar to its siblings, it is geared towards budget consumers. It features the OPPO Glow Design in colors of Silk Gold and Starry Black which provides attractive and shiny rear effects on its rear cover.

At the front, it has a 6.56-inch LCD (IPS) screen with HD+ 1612 x 720 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 720 nits of max brightness.

Inside, it is powered by the 2.2GHz 7nm Dimensity 6020 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 128GB expandable internal storage.

For battery, it has a 5,000mAh capacity that charges using USB-C and 33W SUPERVOOC.

In the camera department, the phone is equipped with a 13MP primary shooter + 2MP depth helper. For selfies, it has an 8MP camera.

Other features noted are the side-mounted fingerprint shooter and 3.5mm headphone jack.

Connectivity-wise, it has 5G, 4G, Bluetooth, GPS and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 13 with ColorOS 13.1 skin on top.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

OPPO A59 5G - INR 14,999 (around PHP 9.9K)

It will be available in India via OPPO store, Flipkart, and Amazon beginning December 25, 2023.
