POCO M6 5G launched: Dimensity 6100+, 90Hz 720p screen, 50MP camera

POCO introduces the new M6 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, a 90Hz 6.72-inch screen and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging.

The new POCO M6 5G comes with a large 5,000mAh battery and supports up to 18W fast wired charging but comes with a 10W wall charger in the box.

In front of the phone is the 6.72-inch display with a 1,600 x 720 resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio and up to 600 nits peak brightness. It is Gorilla Glass protected.

Inside are the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity octa-core processor, Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 4GB/6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage, microSD card storage expansion, and dual-SIM support.

At the back of the phone is the 50MP f/1.8 main rear camera with an LED flash while in front is the 5MP selfie camera.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE,  WiFi, Bluetoooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, and USB-C.

Running the show is Android 13 with MIUI 14. The phone measures 168 x 78 x 8.09mm and weighs 195 grams.

Lastly, it will come in either Orion Blue or Galactic Black.

There is no specific date on when it will be available in India yet. Interested customers can enjoy an additional INR 1,000 discount if purchasing with an ICICI Debit or Credit card. They can also opt for an equivalent product exchange offer. 

Airtel prepaid users who purchase the POCO M6 5G will receive an exclusive 50GB of bonus data.

There is no word yet on international or Philippine pricing and availability.
