CHERRY Philippines will return to the local smartphone scene?

After over a year since the release of its last smartphone, CHERRY Philippines earlier released a teaser suggesting that new ones are coming.

The CHERRY Philippines teaser did not specifically mention what phone or phones they will soon release. 

But based on leaks last year, it could be the Aqua S11 Pro and Aqua GR.

According to the leaked brochure last year, the CHERRY Aqua S11 Pro is equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, 2.4GHz 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB physical RAM + 8GB virtual RAM, 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,000mAh capacity that charges using a 33W fast charger.

It also has a 64MP triple AI camera and a 16MP front-facing shooter.

Meanwhile, CHERRY Aqua GR is the higher-end model. It arrives with a 6.8-inch AMOLED 120Hz screen with FHD+ resolution, faster 5G-ready 6nm 2.6GHz Dimensity 7050 chip octa-core processor with Mali-G68 MP4 GPU, 8GB RAM + 8GB virtual RAM, 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, 4,700mAh battery with USB-C 66W fast charging.

For cameras, it has a 108MP primary shooter and a 16MP front-facing selfie snapper.
