Samsung announces up to PHP 13,000 off, Galaxy AI features for S23 Series

The tech firm said it is offering discounts for its S23 series, allowing more customers to access its "AI technology".

Price drop for S23 series just in time for system updates

Samsung said more of its latest features will be available to more users this month as its new One UI 6.1 update is integrating Galaxy AI in more devices, including the S23 Series. This move coincides with Samsung’s announcement of new prices for the said product lineup.

All variants from the Galaxy S23 Series are now available with their newly adjusted price of up to PHP 13,000 off. The epic part is that you will also now get the best of what Galaxy AI has to offer with the new One UI 6.1 update coming this month, Samsung said in a statement.

The features include Chat Assist which allows users to adjust message tone from casual to formal and translate messages in 13 different languages. Users can also translate phone calls into voice and text in real-time through Live Translate and use Interpreter which has a split-screen feature to generate text translations for live conversations without the internet.

When it comes to productivity, to be added is the Circle to Search with Google wherein users can trigger intuitive search through swift-circle motioned gestures when browsing the Internet or within various applications. There will also be Note Assist, which generates summaries and translates notes, Browsing Assist, which delivers comprehensive summaries of news articles, and Transcript Assist which provides complete transcriptions for meeting recordings and can even identify multiple speakers.

When it comes to photo editing, Generative Edit will allow users to reposition, resize, or realign objects. Meanwhile, Edit Suggestion is for faster polishing of photos. Lastly, through Instant Slow-mo, Galaxy users can generate additional frames in slow-motion videos.

Samsung said that the improved AI tools will help users further utilize the S23's 10MP 3x Optical Zoom Telephoto camera, 50MP Wide-angle camera for wonderful landscape shots and a 12MP Selfie camera.

Galaxy S23 Series price cut

As mentioned, Samsung is also repricing the S23 series.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra, from PHP 103,990, PHP 89,990, and PHP 81,990, you can now buy it for PHP 90,990 (12GB/1TB); PHP 76,990 (12GB/512GB); and PHP 68,990 (12GB/256GB).

The Galaxy S23+, from its original price of PHP 76,990 and PHP 68,990, is now available for PHP 66,990 (8/512 GB) and PHP 58,990 (8/256 GB).

The Galaxy S23 has been adjusted from PHP 57,990 and PHP 53,990 to PHP 51,990 (8GB/256 GB) and PHP 47,990 (8GB/128GB).

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S23 FE is now available for PHP 31,990 (8GB/128GB) and PHP 34,990 (8GB/256GB), from their original price of PHP 36,990 and PHP 39,990, respectively.
