Infinix unveils the NOTE 40 Series in Malaysia. For this article, we will talk about the 5G Pro variants.
There are two models in the Pro variants namely the NOTE 40 Pro and the Pro+ edition.
Both devices sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits of peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Inside, it is powered by the 2.2GHz 6nm Dimensity 7020 octa-core processor with IMG BXM-8-256 GPU, 8GB/12GB RAM, and 256GB storage.
For battery, the NOTE 40 Pro+ features a 4,600mAh capacity that charges using 100W All-Round fast charging. The NOTE 40 Pro gets a higher 5,000mAh battery but the charging speed is toned down to 45W. Meanwhile, both devices support 20W MagCharge technology.
According to Infinix, the 100W adaptor can fill the juice up to 50 percent in 8 minutes thanks to its Cheetah X1 charging chip. You may click the link for more info about the tech.
For cameras, they are equipped with a 108MP main shooter with OIS + two auxiliary sensors.
Other features noted are IP53 dust and water resistance, JBL-tuned stereo speakers, and a vacuum chamber cooling system capable of minimizing temperature by up to 7 degrees Celsius. It also has XBOOST Frame Rate Control to improve the gaming experience for popular MOBA or FPS titles on Android.
These phones also support 5G, 4G connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and dual SIM.
For OS, the devices run Android 14 with XOS 14 skin. It also supports AI features such as Folax, Ask AI, and AI wallpaper maker to maximize the user's creativity and productivity.
Finally, these devices will have 2 years of Android OS upgrades.
