The First Slam Dunk movie is now available via Disney+ Philippines!

To recall, it is one of the nostalgic basketball anime in the '90s era featuring the growth of lead character Hanamichi Sakuragi a red-headed troublemaker who turned into a strong rebounding genius to help his team win games.

Slam Dunk follows Sakuragi and the Shohoku basketball team as they compete for a spot in the inter-high tournament and, eventually, become Japan's number one team.

The First Slam Dunk takes place during the national inter-high tournament. Shohoku will confront its most challenging opponent ever. Yes, it is even more challenging than Kanagawa's famed Kainan High. Sannoh is the top-ranked high school basketball club. Masashi Kawata and Eiji Sawakita are Sannoh's number one-rated center and overall best players in Japan.

Ryota Miyagi, Hisashi Mitsui, Kaede Rukawa, Takenori Akagi, and Hanamichi Sakuragi will face stiff competition from Japan's elite.
