HUAWEI Mate X6 (Global) launched: Up to 7.6-inch OLED, 4x periscope zoom camera

Apart from the nova 13 Series, the HUAWEI Mate X6 has also been announced for the global market.

To recap, the foldable device comes in Obsidian Black, Cosmopolitan Red, Deep Ocean Blue Nebula White, and Nebula Gray. It also measures 156.6 x 73.78 x 9.85mm and weighs 239 grams.

the new Mate X6 features a 6.45-inch 3D Quad-Curved OLED LTPO with a resolution of 2440 x 1080 on its cover display.

Meanwhile, the main screen extends to a 7.93-inch flexible OLED display with a 2440 x 2240 resolution.

Both the cover and inner folding screens feature a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, a 300Hz sampling rate, and up to 3,500 nits peak brightness.

Like other recent HUAWEI devices, the brand did not reveal the chipset used here. But says it is equipped with 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage.

For battery, the foldable sports a 5,110mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging via USB-C and 50W fast wireless charging.

The rear circular camera module houses the 50MP f/1.4-4.0 variable aperture main camera with OIS, + 40MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle camera, + 48MP f/3.4 3x Periscope telephoto camera with OIS, 100x digital zoom, and a 1.5MP multi-spectral channel red maple primary color camera with 5cm Telephoto macro and an LED flash.

Furthermore, the outer cover screen and the inner folding screen both feature 8MP f/2.2 and f/2.4 selfie cameras.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IPX8 splash resistance, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2 LE, GPS, NavIC, and NFC.

It runs with EMUI 15 skin.

It is currently available in Europe and UAE while the shipment begins on January 6.
