Sharp Philippines has gained recognition as one of Reader's Digest Asia's Trusted Brands for 2025, thanks to its more than four decades of experience in providing quality home appliances.

The company earned this award under the categories of washing machines, air conditioners, and refrigerators—where Sharp Philippines has introduced numerous technologies. These include energy-saving options, quick wash cycles, Plasmacluster Ion Technology, hybrid cooling systems, inverter refrigerators, J-Tech Inverters, among others.

It said the award mirrors its commitment to developing and offering the Philippine market "high-quality, innovative appliances" that meet Filipino consumers' needs.

With its strong commitment, Sharp Philippines is eager to continue leading the way in the home appliance industry, maintaining the trust of Filipino consumers for many years to come, the firm said.

The award was the result of a survey conducted by Catalyst Research, which gathered insights from over 8,000 consumers across the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

The survey assessed brands on key factors such as trustworthiness, product quality, value, customer understanding, innovation, and social responsibility.
