Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold introduced - Promises over 10 years of fold, IP68 rating, better cameras

As a part of the Pixel 10 Series, Google also introduced its newest foldable phone, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

According to Google, the new device promises to be its most durable phone yet.

8-inch inner screen

It arrived in an aerospace-grade aluminum frame available in Moonstone and Jade colorways, a gearless hinge that promises to be twice as durable as its previous generation, and an IP68 dust and water resistance rating—a first for foldable devices.

Google also improved its Super Actua Flex Display to be more durable. It is now built with ultra-thin glass and two layers of anti-impact film for added drop protection.

Combined with the new hinge, the company claims that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold can handle over 10 years of folding.

The inner OLED display is the largest on a foldable at 8 inches with 2152 x 2076 resolution. The outer OLED display with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is a 6.4-inch big with 2364 x 1080 resolution. Both have up to 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits of peak brightness for better legibility even under the sun.

Inside, it is powered by the new custom 3nm Tensor G5 chip with Titan M2 security chip. It also has 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage.

The battery is 5,015mAh with USB-C 30W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. This supports Pixelsnap accessories, AKA the MagSafe of Google.

The back cameras and the outer screen

For cameras, it features an improved 48MP main shooter paired with 10.5MP ultra-wide and 10.8MP telephoto. This camera system supports Macro Focus and Super Res Zoom with up to 20x range. In front, both the inner and outer displays have a 10MP snapper.

The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, stereo speaker, Spatial Audio, WiFi 7, 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, GPS, and dual SIM support (nano SIM + eSIM)

Out of the box, it runs with Android 16 OS with seven years of promised updates.

It also has plenty of helpful AI features like the Gemini Live, Magic Cue, and Daily Hub. For photography, it comes with Add Me, Best Take, and Camera Coach.

With its large inner screen, users can easily use Split Screen which allows two apps at once with adjustable size. It also comes with Drag and Drop to move media dn other files across different apps.

Unfortunately, there is no word on whether this device will be available in the Philippines. Google has no official distributor in the country yet.
