Here's what the OnePlus 15 looks like

The official video clip of the upcoming OnePlus 15 has been released by the company's President, Louis Lee, providing the first comprehensive look at the device's packaging and design aesthetics.

The video also confirms the brand will maintain its signature packaging design, featuring a red box with black lettering.

The contents shown are consistent with OnePlus's historical packaging in certain markets, including the smartphone itself, a charging adapter, a red USB cable, and a color-matched protective case. It is noted that the availability of these accessories may vary by region, though similar packaging is expected for units in India.

A key focus of the video was the phone's construction, materials, and finish (CMF).

We can see that the "Sand Storm" color variant was highlighted in the clip, which OnePlus states utilizes an industry-first micro-arc oxidation process.

This technique applies a ceramic-like coating over the metal frame of the device. While this color is currently the focus of promotional efforts, the company is expected to announce additional color options at launch.

Meanwhile, reports suggest the device could feature a 6.78-inch BOE X3 1.5K screen with a 165Hz refresh rate.

It is expected to use the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, 7300mAh battery paired with 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

In terms of the camera, the device is reported to feature DetailMax Engine instead of the Hasselblad found in the previous models. Furthermore, it is reported to feature a 50MP LYT-808 main shooter + 3.5x optical telephoto and a 15mm focal length third module.

The exact release dates for any region have not yet been announced. However, based on details visible in official screenshots, industry observers speculate a potential launch date of October 27 for the Chinese market.
